I wrote this about 2 years ago. I really dont remember when. What I remember is I tried to define an emotion by exemplification rather than by description.
LOVE. Most of the time, it is given the cheesiest, emo-est, and even scientific (hormonal, hypothalamus shit) meaning. And yet, everyone has their own unique one. Well, here's mine. I listed my most memorable moments in sports (lol). It was during these times that you don't know what to do, where to go, what to say. It was literally kneeling in front of your TV screaming, or running to the other room asking your brother, "Did you see what he just do?". These were the moments where you are in awe, shocked, excited, happy, sad -- and even feel of these all at the same time.
Here it goes, Love was the feeling when:
Tayshaun prince blocked Reggie Miller in Eastern Conference Finals in 2004.Tony Hawk first landed a 900 in the X-Games.
Travis Pastrana landed the Double Backflip in Best Trick (must-see).
Dwight Howard dunked the ball -- Superman style in 08.
Sundiate Gaines drained the game winning basket over Cleveland.Playing your PS2 for the first time the very first day.
John Cena lifted the Big Show in Wrestlemania XX.
Jeff Hardy broke the ladder in half on Edge.
Trying to figure who's who on Adam Sandler's The Longest Yard.
Jason Maxiell blocked Tyson Chandler in 08.The Rock delivered his speech at WWE HOF 08 Ceremonies.Chuck Lidell fought Tito Ortiz.
All Anderson Silva fights. Pistons-Pacers brawl in 04.
When the Pistons lost to the Spurs in 7 in 05. When Chauncey Billups got traded to the Nuggets.Eddie Guerrero died.Team Philippines lost to South Korea in a buzzer beater shot for the Olympics (early 2000's).
Very old references, eh? Told you. This was a couple years back. :D
